The Space Movement Project (“TSMP”) and The Rooted Space Company partnered to present an evening of new works. TSMP presented their improvisational work-in-practice 'Refraction' and The Rooted Space premiered their evening-length contemporary work 'Let the Record Show’
Choreographed by The Rooted Space Company co-director Stefany Cotton, Let the Record Show is an immersive, multi-sensory full-length work. Within its inaugural process, the emerging company has unearthed familiarity in the unexpected and shared experiences that translate to a journey of hilarity, poignancy, and discovery. Featuring Chicago-based artists Stephanie Anderson, Mia Barnett, Tina Diaz, Ella Dorman, Ashley Johnson, and Stephen Patterson.
