after years of artistically working in the chicago area, chelsea branch and stefany cotton have realized that the chicago dance community's greatest strength is the connectedness of it's movers.
from supporting one-another with dance costumes, choreography revisions, or simply attending a performance, we show up for each other. the rooted space has a vision of formally developing those connections and sharing knowledge.
the rooted space will enable each dancer in the city to know that their work is important, find support to finalize their projects, and people to join them along the way in the most helpful way to the creator.
